Book Club meeting

Becky is having trouble with her computer, so she asked me to send this out. She is planning to hold Book Club at her home next Tuesday, the 13th at 12:30pm. She would like two fruit salads, a dessert, drink and bread. She's planning to serve a Cafe Rio-type lunch with rice, meat, tortillas, and all the yummy trimmings. Please RSVP and let us know what you can bring.

spring break

Wendy- try and get onboard again. Has every one finished the book? What should I pick up in a couple of weeks?

Danielle,
What an insightful post. I wish I could remember when I'm having one of "those" days, at least the things that are really important are still intact. You are a great woman. I love you.

BTW, I finished Charms and despite it being a rather macabre book (did I spell that right?) I enjoyed it and I'll admit that I bawled like a baby when the grandmother died. Of course I knew it was coming. It was just so well written that I felt I knew her.

Is this repetative or what. Sorry I won't even remember the route next time. Blogging 101 Provo City library April 29 7:PM Be there, but register first. I thought you'd like to know the 2 things I have learned since I acquired my doggy companion. First of all I don't know why I ever was so baffled/pained by my near empty nesting syndrome. The reason for the fluffy pooche in the first place. I have learned if you let the dog off the leash she will run free for about a month. Ryan reasurreed that she would learn to self regulate. I was worried and obsessed that she'd never come back, would get stolen, run over, lost. What does an almost 17 year old know anyway? Alas is has been about5 weeks and because my attention has been directed elsewhere and I can not be consummed with the whereabouts of my doggy, low and behold she is content to be at home. I leave the doggy door open to her at all times, no longer wall off certain parts of the house. Does this apply to humans sometimes. Let them go and have faith that they will self regulate and choose to be home? The last day of my gardening class (Sat. am) Tom was home dismanteling my kitchen. (in prep for granite) Ryan was at choir and then unknown to me hauling into the family room all kinds of dirty rubber boats, tools from the garage, a shop vac. Before I left for my gardening class I asked the Tom if I should stay home and help him. The class ran over and by the time I arrived home my men folk were irrate. Neither of them could find the things they needed. (Later it was because they had misplaced them not me, for once.) Ryan had tall stacks of books on top of the rubber boat trying to hold a patch on. He gathered extra clothes in case he fell into Salem pond while filming a Huck Fnn project. This is my 4th kid to do a Huck Finn project, hasn't the teacher seen them all? Not to mention it was snowing outside, and as I tried to tell him he'd get hypothermia before he could reach the shore if the patch didn't hold. Tom deaded out to the truck to run and get drywall etc. He inadvertantly stepped in dog poop and tracked it through the house. I had to document that it was not my doggy's. Which was easy it was from a horsy size dog. We scrubbed the carpets. I cleaned while the men folk were away. Set up a kitchen in the laundry room. Shannon was down and I invited Avery & and Callie 3 to stay overnight. Whats alittle more chaos. Ryan came home late and had some chili. He let my pooche lick the pan. The chili sauce stained her white fur. We gave her a bath. I ran to the grocery store. I picked up some corned beef for ST Patricks day. Tom had put the granddaughters to bed while I was gone. I was so exhausted and had decided that this was the very worst day of my life. I wanted to go to sleep so it would be over. I hate dog poop in my house!!! I didn't know that in the morning my Marcy would call at 6:30 am to say that Adam had left her. I'll take the dog poop back> Because the following days are the worst and worstest. How can something be worse than dog poop? The things you can't clean up. The things that don't appear to be messy, but they are the yuckiest mess of all. Something that can't be covered up with sweet smelling collogne.
